What to expect
Formats Capital One offers
CSV (QuickBooks and Quicken formats on some accounts)
How far back
The download covers recent activity only (about 90 days is commonly reported).
When you upload it to insytesBI
Capital One card files have Transaction Date and Posted Date plus separate Debit and Credit columns. insytesBI uses the transaction date and combines Debit and Credit into one amount.
Choose CSV. Capital One offers CSV (QuickBooks and Quicken formats on some accounts). A CSV opens in Excel and Google Sheets and is the safest choice for insytesBI; a QFX or OFX file also works in the bank statement tools.
How far back can I download Capital One transactions?
The download covers recent activity only (about 90 days is commonly reported).
Can I upload a Capital One PDF statement instead?
Yes. A PDF statement downloaded from online banking is read directly by the bank statement analyzer and converter. Scanned paper statements cannot be read, because they are a picture rather than text; for those, download the CSV.
Does insytesBI need my bank login?
No. You only upload the file you exported. insytesBI never asks for your bank password or a one-time code, and no website should.
