How to Download Chase Statements & Transactions (CSV)
Step-by-step: download Chase statement transactions as a CSV for Excel, how far back it goes, and a free report from it or a PDF statement.
Download your Chase transactions

Open the checking, savings or credit card account you want.
Select the download icon above the transaction list (Download account activity).
Choose Spreadsheet (Excel, CSV) as the file type, pick the date range, then select Download.
What to expect
Formats Chase offers
Spreadsheet (CSV), Quicken Web Connect (QFX), Quicken or Microsoft Money (QIF) and QuickBooks Web Connect (QBO)
How far back
Chase lets you choose a date range for each download; for older activity, download the period in pieces.
When you upload it to insytesBI
Chase CSVs carry a Details column that only says DEBIT or CREDIT. insytesBI ignores it and categorises from the Description column, so rent, payroll and subscriptions are still recognised.
Choose CSV. Chase offers Spreadsheet (CSV), Quicken Web Connect (QFX), Quicken or Microsoft Money (QIF) and QuickBooks Web Connect (QBO). A CSV opens in Excel and Google Sheets and is the safest choice for insytesBI; a QFX or OFX file also works in the bank statement tools.
How far back can I download Chase transactions?
Chase lets you choose a date range for each download; for older activity, download the period in pieces.
Can I upload a Chase PDF statement instead?
Yes. A PDF statement downloaded from online banking is read directly by the bank statement analyzer and converter. Scanned paper statements cannot be read, because they are a picture rather than text; for those, download the CSV.
Does insytesBI need my bank login?
No. You only upload the file you exported. insytesBI never asks for your bank password or a one-time code, and no website should.
