What to expect

Formats Truist offers
CSV, plus Quicken (QFX) and QuickBooks formats
How far back
The download covers recent activity; Truist cites up to 18 months online for some account types. Use PDF statements for anything older.
When you upload it to insytesBI
insytesBI reads Truist CSVs directly. If you have years of history, upload the CSV for recent months and the PDF statements for older ones; overlapping lines are counted once.

Frequently asked questions

Which file format should I choose in Truist?

Choose CSV. Truist offers CSV, plus Quicken (QFX) and QuickBooks formats. A CSV opens in Excel and Google Sheets and is the safest choice for insytesBI; a QFX or OFX file also works in the bank statement tools.

How far back can I download Truist transactions?

The download covers recent activity; Truist cites up to 18 months online for some account types. Use PDF statements for anything older.

Can I upload a Truist PDF statement instead?

Yes. A PDF statement downloaded from online banking is read directly by the bank statement analyzer and converter. Scanned paper statements cannot be read, because they are a picture rather than text; for those, download the CSV.

Does insytesBI need my bank login?

No. You only upload the file you exported. insytesBI never asks for your bank password or a one-time code, and no website should.
