About the spreadsheet analyzer
Upload any spreadsheet, from sales and invoices to visits, hours or inventory, then pick what you want to know or ask in your own words. Every answer comes in plain English with a chart: trends, top groups, who still owes you, profit, and a forecast tested against your own past months. CSV, Excel or text PDF, up to 100 MB.
How spreadsheet answers and forecasts work
- Upload a CSV, Excel workbook or text-based PDF with at least eight rows.
- Pick the questions you want answered, or type one in your own words. Click a question again to hide it.
- Download any answer as CSV, or print the page as a PDF.
Frequently asked questions
What report types can I use?
CSV and Excel reports, plus text-based PDFs with extractable table text. Scanned PDFs need OCR. It works with any data that has numbers in it: money, visits, hours, units, scores. The more columns a file has (a category, a second date, other numbers), the more forecasting methods it can test.
Does every report get a forecast?
No. A forecast is shown only when the report has the history and fields needed to estimate one. Otherwise insytesBI offers supported historical breakdowns and says what is missing.
Who do I contact if a report will not load?
